A key focus of our comprehensive services is general commercial law. This includes, in particular, civil, contract, and commercial law, including distribution and commercial agency law, as well as the law of general terms and conditions and licensing law.
In the international field we focus on trade and contract law, which covers the drafting of contracts and the provision of advice to our clients on all legal aspects concerning foreign trade, export and import. We support our clients’ business activities, including their investment projects. One special focus is on the regions of Eastern Europe and the Far East (in particular India and China).
Furthermore, our law firm advises on property law, including construction and architectural law, commercial rental law as well as tenancy law, and residential property law and real estate law including the sale and acquisition of real estate.
Another special area of commercial law consulting is employment law. In addition to advising on and representing clients in individual employment law (including unfair dismissal proceedings), the firm is also active in collective bargaining law and works constitution law; a core aspect of the firm's activities in this area is the ongoing advice on dealing with works councils and the conduct of employment law decision-making and conciliation board proceedings.
In addition, we advise and represent our clients in data protection law, including in particular the requirements of the GDPR, as well as in all other compliance matters. This also includes support in implementing appropriate internal and external control mechanisms.
The firm also provides comprehensive corporate law services. This extends in particular to the law governing limited liability companies (GmbHs) and small public limited companies (AGs). In this area, we advise not only the companies themselves, but also their shareholders, as well as their governing bodies, including managing directors, board members, and supervisory board members, and other management personnel. Our practice covers all aspects of contract drafting and advising on all matters from company formation or acquisition and the implementation of any business decision to company dissolution, liability issues, and other disputes.
Tax law is a key focus of the firm's advisory services. In addition to providing structuring advice in tax matters, including related legal fields, particularly corporate law, the firm handles court, tax, and tax-related criminal proceedings.
